Archaeological Phantasmagoria

I wish someone would finally
	lift this rock
and find me
	under it


encrusted
and subtly fossilized
but beautiful


worthy of careful cleaning
of marble…glass…and mahogany
of space in a private museum


where I could gleam in the corner
	forever.
